To be a local New Testament church, Biblically sound in its teaching following the principles for the church laid down in the Word of God.

To provide sound Biblical, expositional, preaching and teaching that will build up the hearers and point them to Jesus Christ.

To make, and keep, prayer a priority within the local body of SCBC

To promote an atmosphere within the worship and preaching service which will direct attention Godward.

To assist members in identifying and using their God-given spiritual gifts and abilities to serve God and edify the body of Christ.

To introduce the local community to Jesus Christ using the God-given gifts and abilities of those within the church.

To consistently disciple and equip all believers in the Word of God so that they in turn will be able to disciple others.

To provide an atmosphere which will promote close, personal fellowship and community among the believers.

To provide opportunities for all members to serve within the ministry of the local church.
